When I was little, my brother’s girlfriend painted a sweet “Taz” on the back of his Nissan XE.
I want to get Woodsy Owl painted on the back of the Ranger, just like the image below minus the “Woodsy Owel says” part. I don’t know where to look. Maybe post in the “gigs” section of CL? How much should I expect to pay, a couple hundred?

Contact your local sign maker/print shop and get it made as a sticker instead maybe?

I think you need to also have the sign painted too.
Find a custom car shop that does a lot of classic roadsters, low riders, old trucks and such. Those guys will usually have a dude who can hand paint stuff. I know some tattoo artists that do sign painting and pinstriping as well.

I’d probably rely on word of mouth here, to be honest. If you see a car that’s been painted and you like it, ask who did it.

Great idea! Cept now I’ll probably not see a car with something hand painted for another few years haha.

Awesome, never thought of Tattoo artists. I’m going to keep the “give a hoot, don’t pollute” just not the “woodsy owl says”

Do it in vinyl, not paint. Just make the graphic and have a local vinyl shop print it. Has the added benefit of removability.

Somewhat related: Anyone know who I can talk to about making a .bmp I can import and use as my logo on PCBs and the like? I would like to make up something like my squirrel avatar in a Stilo WRC helmet but have no idea where to start.

Ask at body shops and bike paint shops. ? Someone can do it for cheap. I’d pay $50-100.
