Most boring thing I’ve ever seen from behind. I seriously couldn’t figure our what it was, I though it was maybe Nissan with a bad badge job. Amazing machines I’m sure but from behind I couldn’t picture a more bland vehicle. The paint didn’t even impress.

I think the front and side are more distinctive. But it’s supposed to be subtle too. I mean this is pretty much what a Flying Spur looks like from the rear.

What surprised me the most when I saw one on the road is the size. I expected it to be some sort of Escalade-sized beast, but it’s basically the same as your average 3-row crossover like a Traverse or Pilot. Just look how much space it leaves in that lane. I mean I know it’s essentially a fancy Q7, but for some reason considering that Bentley sedans are such boats I thought this thing was going be to huge.

My thinking on that is Bentley saw that big SUVs are too big, and become a PITA to drive. Nothing less Luxurious than having to wrestle your Suburban into a parking spot.

They practically park themselves these days with all the sensors. The BMW X5 I rented recently gave you a birds-eye view of the car. But you can’t park in a space where you don’t fit and a lot of parking lots pre-date these huge SUV’s. And some people still suck at parking. Last week I watched a lady back a brand new Santa Fe Sport on paper tags into a concrete pole. That thing has a standard backup camera.

I recently saw a Maserati Levante across an intersection to my right and thought it was a Nissan Murano from the side. Then it got the green light and turned left coming toward me and I saw the large trident in the grill.
I also saw the ‘bobblehead’ driving while holding a phone to her head and I couldn’t tell where her hoop earrings ended and the dozen golden wrist bangles began as she drove by whilst overly animated in conversation. You can’t tell me that vehicle doesn’t have Bluetooth...

Yeah, if I can buy a plug-in adapter to add Bluetooth to my almost 10yr-old plebeian conveyance to comply with hands-free laws then why can’t the ‘privileged’ of the world at least use what was already given to them?
Of course those are also the type of drivers who make wonder if they know that turn signals are a standard feature these days, lol.

It used to make no sense to me until my mom got it in her car and the countless times I’ve had to “fix” hers. Usually nothing is wrong she just isn’t using her phone right

She’s got an ‘08 Honda Odyssey with no Bluetooth so I got her the Jabra unit that clips to the sun visor. The Jabra’s volume was turned all the way down...
