Fuck yellow jackets. (Buffer image... dad flab and sting after jump) I was going to wash my filthy car but a bunch of asshole yellow jackets decided to claim my driveway and one somehow managed to fly up my shirt. Now I have a huge itchy welt and my car is still dirty.

two years ago the little cockbiters built a nest in one of the outside walls of my apartment, conveniently one of them was a bedroom wall.
you haven’t lived until you wake up at 3:00 a.m. with three of them stinging you.

They build nests in the most evil places. When I was 9 or 10 my mom was mowing the lawn and ran over a large nest hidden in the grass. She made it back into the house and passed out on the kitchen floor. At the ER the nurses gave up counting at 100 stings. At that age seeing one of your parents that you think of as indestructible laying in a hospital bed sticks with you. She was ulitmately OK with a big dose of antihistamines and painkillers, but I’ve absolutely hated yellow jackets ever since.

I got stung by a yellow jacket that flew up my sleeve. It was immediate flew in and stung. I was in line to drive a car at a car show (NOPI?). They just finished with a drift exhibition and the guy said “ok, let’s go.” Then I was stung. Then I got yelled at for holding up the line by dude. I said “I just got stung by a yellow jacket.” He said “oh......do you need to go to the med tent?” “Nah, I’m good. I wanna drive.” Went to the med tent after and they rubbed some sting relief on it and put a bandaid on it.
Had a friend with a retaining wall that became home to a very large yellow jacket nest. It ran along the middle of the driveway so ok if you’re in your car but not if you need to stop or get out anywhere except for the ends.
