Kinja'd!!!

I picked up this Sunpak 4200XL yesterday, it’s missing one of the feet. Is it possible to get replacements?

It’s probable the foot snapped off and took metal with it. You can buy a whole new telescoping tripod like that from Target for around $15. But they’re not very good tripods, unless you have a very light camera, or just need anything, anything at all, to hold a camera off the ground.

Sunpak is a lower-end brand, so getting direct-replacement parts from Sunpak is going to be less likely than for more expensive tripods. That being said, if the feet a threaded, you should be able to get a set of feet that will work. If you can figure out what size and pitch the thread is, there are a ton of feet here: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/buy/Spikes-Rubber-Feet/ci/10830/N/4075788759

I couldn’t find any replacement parts, but Best Buy sells the same tripod for $11.19 .

If you’re shooting with a DSLR or the like, may I suggest stepping up to the following:

https://www.amazon.com/Dolica-AX680P104-68-Inch-Discontinued-Manufacturer/dp/B001DIKUYE

I’ve had that very one for years and am VERY happy with it. While it’s relatively inexpensive, it performs at a point much higher than the price would suggest.

Here’s a review video.
