That guy posted a thread on the VWVortex about this build everyone was skeptical. The replies were nothing but, “LOL,” “Why,” “You’re wasting your time.” One of them even said “I’ll eat my own poop if he pulls this off.”

Eventually we saw him buy another doner W8 car, rebuild one of the engines by making his own rod bearings by cutting down VR6 bearings. The guy eventually pulled it off.
They are still asking the guy if he has eaten poop.

Thanks for the links. I have stuff to do around the house today, but I stopped and took the time to read all 73 pages in that discussion thread. I’ll need to look this guy up and see what sort of madness he’s been up to for the last few years. Provided, of course, he hasn’t died from lung cancer from doing those burnouts in his garage:
