There’s an Alpine White BMW M4 on our lot with 1500 miles that was traded in for a Wrangler (lol) and I could maybe care a little less than I do about it. But I am curious what the tire pressures are.

The guy that traded it... lets just say he’s got a lot of money, and gets bored with cars easy after a few months and a few thousand miles. He last traded us a Range Rover for a Grand Cherokee, and traded that GC somewhere for the Bimmer.

True but it would be more exciting! New car every week. I mean high end rentals not like Avis or Budget lol. Pretty much what rappers do.

The Wrangler is probably worth more. #germandepreciation

My Wrangler is worth more than my wife’s BMW despite having the ride quality of a horse, the build quality of a shed, and two more years of age on it.

I would rather have the wrangler.

One of my boss’ boss at a previous job did the exact same thing with a then new E92 M3 w/ comp package to a base line Wrangler. I was completely dumbfounded until I talked to him about it.

Just like the guy you’re talking about, he had a lot of money (to the point of being able to wear a different Omega/Rolex/Breitling every day for a month). The winter after he had the M3 delivered was one of the worst. He drove a new fully loaded F150 during the snow months....

After the winter was done, the constant plowing and salting made the NYC roads APPALLING. When spring came around, he broke the M3 out from hibernation. He said he hated every second of it because he would bend and crack rims left and right, and the bad roads were killing his back. He traded it in for the wrangler since it could go through a crater in the road without even feeling it. He would drop the top down frequently because he said it reminded him of being a teenager...

We would grab lunch every so often where he would drive (since he knew I’m a car guy). When he got the wrangler, he told me to get in, and we went hooning all over the bumpy roads. We were blasting potholes at WOT that could be mistaken for small ponds left and right, and he was showing me all the tire and suspension mods he wanted to get...it then clicked that the wranger was way more fun than the M3 could ever be for him....and that’s what it’s all about, right?

I am hoping so... I mean to my knowledge both the Grand Cherokee and M4 are/were stock, and the Wrangler leaves the door open to mods if he gets bored but... he didn’t even get a LOADED Wrangler. Its just an Sport.

Sometimes: it really is a Jeep thing, and a thing most will never understand.

I also care little to none for the M4 (or new M3).
