I like the 959. The F40 is all flashy and grabs the spotlight, while the 959 just sits there in its unassuming silver paint like “I’m better and we all know it, now can we please move on?”.

I think you are right. After testing the F40 and the 959 all over the Alps and even in Fiorano (!) Car Magazine’s Gavin Green ended an article saying that “the F40 is the faster car, but speed alone is not substitute for greatness”.

Having said that, I like the F40 a little better now.

I don’t get why people are so obsessed with the F40 though:  it pales in comparison to the 80s Ferrari GTO, also known as 288 GTO. (Yes, I know the F40 is faster - see above).

I prefer the F40 LM over the regular F40, but I’d rather have a 288 GTO instead of an F40 LM.

That being said, GTO or 959? Oh, that’s a difficult decision...
