I should really start using Lyft instead. I hate to support such a sleezy company, but I also don’t want to wait an extra 15 mins for a Lyft driver to get to me.

Is it really that much longer of a wait? I’ve found prices and waits to be comparable so I always use lyft.

I’ve avoided the protest route with Uber drivers. No need to make them suffer since all they want to do is drive part-time for others and get paid whatever they can get. They don’t work at corporate.

Hopefully that starts going the other direction now that Lyft allows tipping. If I was a driver, i’d consider changing to Lyft.

Most of them here do both, and of the ones I’ve asked they all prefer driving for lyft.
