My local college hipster public radio station played it after Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner, so I already had my radio turned way up. I’ve maybe listened it to twenty times today.

Well the best radio station in Honolulu is UH Manoa’s. They have electronic nights and stuff too. Sometimes the hipsters are right, sometimes horribly wrong.

I had never listened to the boy band this guy is from, but I was watching the Graham Norton show and he came on with this, I was impressed. Not bad.

Oh, I definitely love this station to death. Everything they do is perfect, from blocks of very obscure 70s songs to playing requested songs with a theme (recently, “detectives,” which had the amazing combination of Elvis Costello, The Beastie Boys, and Hall and Oates). But that doesn’t stop me from wishfully fantasizing about death whenever they play a requisite song from fucking Lana Del Ray.

I’ll admit, that was so good that I had to look it up because I thought it had to be a cover. Can’t say that I’m a fan of his stage presence, though.

I know a girl who sings some of his old bands stuff acoustic sometimes, that’s all I knew. He has one other song out before the album release on the 12th I heard. I have to say he has some talent, and the girl I know said he did a lot of the writing. He can do whatever he wants I guess, he has the Elvis/Beatles affect, crying girls wherever he goes.....
