Please elaborate!!!!!

Was it tasty?

Did it hurt you afterwards?

Did you feel sick while eating it?

These are questions. I am a hamburger fanboy.

It was OK. A bit messy - it took multiple napkins to clean up the mess, and I feel like there’s still some residual in my beard and mustache. The taste was decent, but the hamburger patty was hardly noticeable. With all of the pickles it tasted like a more flavourful McRib, but a bit better because of the fried onions instead of raw. A little too thick, so it was hard to get an even bite.

I didn’t feel sick whilst eating it, but a bit queasy about an hour afterwards. Whenever I order a combo, something I don’t normally do, I go with a small because I don’t really want a whole lot of fries and a small drink, usually iced tea or sparkling water, is more than sufficient; years ago I had a coupon for a free large burger if I bought a large drink, and even continuing to consume a 32 oz drink after I left the restaurant was a task I couldn’t handle.

Right now it’s the gurgling of the stomach and the runs that are torturing me. I’ve been cooped up inside the house for the last few days doing cleanup during the rainstorms (I wanted to spend my vacation working on the car, but the weather isn’t cooperating), so today was the first time I’ve been out for a meal in about a week. I think I’ll stick to cooking for myself, thanks.

Nonsense, that’s a perfectly healthy meal, just like the double down. In fact I would go so far as to call that a cure for hangovers, which is what we used the double down for back in college

Meat is always good, no?

I want it! I will make my own rendition of it tomorrow. I’ll make it “healthy” though by using ground turkey burgers but double the bacon

I never tried one of those. I do like some vegetation on my main course, so I did enjoy trying one of these:

Cheese. Don’t forget to add some cheese. Gotta get some dairy in there, right?

Is this like balancing your meal by having a diet soda so you don’t feel bad about the two slices of cheesecake?

Buffalo Wild wings has a new pulled pork sandwich with whatbibthinknthey call a grilled cheese that’s actually a fried mozzarella patty, 1650 calories. It was ok, ,needed to double the pork, & I asked for no onions. Add onions and the cool just took your tip... (I wasn’t buying, so I guess she got her tip anyway )

Kinja'd!!!

Just make sure that you have a real taco, with a nice squeeze of lime, instead of pseudomex. Preferably barbacoa or al pastor, with a nice side of beans. Yum. I’m starting to drool now - gotta stop...

Smart move. I see the commercials and give these things a try, but they’re never as good as I imagined that they might be. Fast food in general is just a let down.

exactly... but loose the pineapple - replace with some green salsa and radish slices.

Is that pineapple? I didn’t notice. With regards to vegetable matter on my tacos I prefer to stick with the simple combo of onions and cilantro. My favorite taco joint brings out three squeeze bottles of salsa, and I always go for a shot of salsa verde on mine, and sometimes toss in some of the beans if I’m feeling a little crazy. Mmm, beans...

No, I actually really like Turkey burgers. Less greasy. But it can come out really good still if you cook it properly. It ends up being a satisfying meal instead of a pile of regret. Additionally, I really like bacon. But I use real bacon, I’d rather be dead than eat turkey bacon.

Bacon is good, especially if it’s good bacon. I picked up some thick cut stuff at Costco and it was amazing. A little bacon on maple donuts is also good, although I haven’t had one of those in several years.

I do like turkey burgers, but I’ve found that many brands I’ve tried have a strange metallic flavour to them for some reason. Once again, Costco to the rescue, with probably the best patties I’ve tried. I’d rather have one of those over a mediocre beef patty any day.

Ahh see you have to start with ground turkey not those crappy store bought patties. I generally feel the same way about beef burgers too but with turkey it’s even more important. I generally make them almost like meatballs with the amount of stuff I’ll throw in there.

Not really. Pineapple goes well with pork. There’s a reason they make al pastor with it.
