Kinja'd!!!

The various companies that have provided heavy equipment for Matt’s destructive segments on Top Gear tend to do write-ups of their experience and participation during the segment. It provides a little extra interesting behind the scenes view of it all. It also reveals that Matt’s love of (and skill at operating) heavy equipment is genuine.

Bunning muck spreader

Matt’s Fuchs material handler

Ross Noble’s Sennebogen material handler

Couldn’t find a write-up of the Karcher, so instead here’s one being used to strip the paint off a cement wall

And one cutting through heavy equipment tires

It is quite good. It’s obviously changed, but the show feels familiar. Matt, Chris, and Rory do have great chemistry when they chat. They’ve kept Sabine around for several segments as well which is fun.

They’ve kept the enthusiasm about cars and lost nearly all of the trying too hard to be funny on TV that everyone complained about with the later series under Jezza, Hamster, and May.

I just rewatched season 10 of the trio...it might be my favorite. I guess I’ll have to figure out how to see the new ones!

I seriously enjoyed this new season of top gear. Had some genuine laughs and was reminded how much better it was than season 23

Based upon this thread, I will check it out. I’d otherwise thrown in the towel on Top Gear entirely.

BBC America offers the new series as on-demand streaming. We get it through our SlingTV subscription.

If not that, then one could try searching for EZTV which has helpfully put some files online for you to “borrow”.
