So yeah, it’s aluminum, but when the basketball or the backpack or the cell phone are in there, the kids aren’t going to just go behind your desk and grab their stuff when they really need to be picking it up from the principal.

It did work, but it was pretty flimsy and this is more fun and makes a statement to the kids. And it’s more fun. And making it was fun.

The screws will pull out of the particle board before the aluminum gives way. You’d really have to wail on it.

The hasp is pretty flimsy. Easier just to pry the door off its hinges.
