Dude, Roxette fucking ROCKS. Seriously, I love listening to their older stuff, and you just happened to post my favorite song of theirs (“Dangerous” and “The Look” following that). Plus no one can deny that “It Must Have Been Love” is still a fantastic ballad (I absolutely love the piano solo in the middle, plus the Esprit Turbo is featured in the video lol).
I’m sure I got the Roxette bug from listening to them as a kid growing up as my mom loved them and constantly played their albums, but they really are full of catchy, feel-good tunes and Marie Fredriksson had a helluva voice (plus I totally crushed on her as a kid lol).
Crazy that a brain tumor almost took her life 15 years ago, but thankfully her and Per Gessle are still out there jammin’.
