I got a new microphone for my recordings. I think it represents the sound well and the 4k video looks pretty good. That’s a cold start on ethanol.

Have you got headers too? I’m asking because my Mother has a C5, catback, xpipe. It sounds good and its loud. However, years ago she had another C5, definitely headers/mid section of some kind, but it was earth shattering loud... Like shit falling over in the garage loud.

I’m guessing the first C5 had a set of long tube headers to get that noise, but I dunno.

Yes, 1 7/8 inch long tubes, 3 inch catless X pipe. Upside to this setup is that I can tell the NPP to shut and it gets decently quiet (runs through stock Z06 mufflers).

The C6 isn’t as loud as my cam’d strait piped c5 was:

That also had headers, but was just strait 3 inch pipe all the way to the back. And for the record I did fix the pipe alignment after that video was shot. Then I put quieter mufflers on it and sold it.
