They’re free on the CW website as long as you keep up (they only go 5 episodes back). Or you could DVR it and skip the heinous amount of commercials.

I’m having the same discussion with a buddy who predicted it from then too, I didn’t. He caught the Julian vibe where he says “I’m the Future Flash” I heard it as “I’m the future, Flash” So if you have the comma and separation in there you don’t realize. I knew it had to be someone close to Snow though because she was so happy to follow him when the suit came off.

Was last night the season finale? I’m not two weeks behind. I still don’t know who I think it could be. I think it’s still somehow Eobard Thon, but with Eddie killing himself in season one I’m not sure how that’s possible (and Thon was kind of dealt with on Legends anyway). And Zoom doesn’t really work here because he was taken away by the time wraiths in season 2.

Fair, a lot of people argued over that. But we hypothesized that since he had intimate knowledge of every member of the team and who they really were, that he had to be a member of the team. We also figured that since he was a speedster, he had to be Barry or Wally (or possibly Ronnie if the vortex gave him speed powers). EX: HR uses a hologram to protect his face in public. Savitar not only knew who he was, but that he was the “fake” version of him. Yet since HR is a very successful writer in the future (and not in jail for the murder of Nora Allen), the knowledge must have been acquired from the inside.
Barring all of that, there was one other way we knew. Why didn’t Savitar just roll up and kill Iris randomly? Or even better just raze Star Labs in just one go? It was because events HAD to happen the way they did in order for him to be created. Barry needed his previous self to be in a very specific mental place for events to unfold. “You’ll even create time remnants, but he kills them, MOSTLY”.
It actually reminds me of the plot of imFamous 1. Kessler put Cole (his past self) through hell to make him a Hero far earlier, even giving him his powers years before, but couldn’t reveal his identity until the end because Cole needed the push to defeat the Beast.

Mostly valid points. I guess I just didn’t add them all up. I say mostly because why doesn’t any villain just raze star labs in one go? Zoom could’ve. Reverse Flash could’ve. So I didn’t assume on that.
I suppose though with a new baby at home I just shut my mind off and watch the show without thinking too much hahahaha

Zoom needed Barry’s speed to prevent him from dying (can’t force a deadman to drain himself through running) and killing his friends would put him in hiding (like it did with Savitar). Thawne needed the Flash to use the Speedforce (far sooner than the timeline naturally allowed) so he could get home. He eventually offered the Flash the chance to save his mother in return for letting him go to the future (remember, Barry knows nothing of the consequences of time travel at this point). Doubt Barry would’ve taken him up on it if he had killed all his friends.
Great that you and your “kid flash” enjoy the show though. It definitely requires some suspension of belief.

Alright now they’re all good points. Dammit. lol.
I watch all of the CW ones, all with a grain of salt. There’s moments I have to roll my eyes at both the story lines...and the acting...for all of them. But that’s ok. You have to be able to “suspend some belief” you’re watching a show full of speedsters that move at ridiculous speeds.
