The somewhat “unloved” and rarely talked about turbo cars to my knowledge.

First off, the lack of Celica All-trac on here makes me sad. They built an 80's version that was mechanically nearly identical to the 90's one everyone thinks of when they think celica all-trac.

DD - RX7 - I think it or the Fox has aged the best

Rally - SVO - Pretty fast, most suspension travel

Track - Conquest - I know someone who tracks one and it looks fun, but slippery

First of all DAMN YOU FOR BURNING THE CONQUEST!

Second,

DD- SVO , probably most reliable, and biggest cargo area, most usable rear seat...besides the FWD one.

Rally- Conquest , because Mistubishis are made for dirt.

Track- RX-7 , because 9000rpm

Gift- 924 Turbo , my brother in law would love it plus that rediculous pop up head light mechanism is awesome.

Burn -the glorified L car, nothing worst than a FWD car that tries so hard to look like it isn’t.

It is largely unloved in most cases. Relatively inexpensive and often found beaten half to death.

man... all of those really deserve to be loved - even the Dodge. All of them were kind of the quirky but eager odd man out at the the time... The SVO and Conquest are still super looking cars even today, (absolutely love that pic of the SVO - who says fox bodies aren’t sexy..)

It’s a cheap tuneable car from 30 years ago, if course most of them are used up. The NA ones are unremarkable but the turbos when done up nicely are very nice indeed. Very capable chassis that with modern tires and suspension bits like shocks etc can out handle plenty of modern cars.
