I’ve had a nail one of the rear tyres of the Twingo since i bought it two years ago. Just left it in since I’m worried the tyre will leak if I remove it.

A nail will not be enough to seal the air from leaking, if it has penetrated air will escape. For me leaving it is making more harmful to the tire and risking an actual puncture.

Go get it out ASAP.

Did it puncture the casing? If it went through most of the tie but not the one liner is still suspect. No 100 mph plus ruins in that tie I would say

Yikes! That was a close one.

Makes me wonder... would it be worth going ahead and puncturing it all the way through, just so that you could run a plug in there? I mean, it holds air right now, but that’s a weak spot, isn’t it? Would a hole with a plug in it be even weaker?
