that’s a smugglers truck if i ever saw one! how fast (in terms of space measurement not actual speed units because that would be silly) can it do the Kessel Run?

if its still there I know where a Powell station wagon is with the same feature. The Jalopnik crew knows where I’m talking about. Its at a friends shop near where I work. I’m hoping to do a photo dump from his place in the next few months if I can time our schedules so I can take some good pics instead of just iPhone stuff.

Just read the Hemmings article on these. Plastic fascia, grill bars stolen from a Ford, ‘40/’41 Mopar sedan chassis, oak bumpers (originally)...

Anyway, when I was making a swing-away taillight on the left side of the Ranchero, I went ahead and made the right side swing-away too, for this reason: a storage compartment.

Honda needs to add this to the Ridgeline’s list of neat things.

I have wanted one of these since reading about them in Collectible Automobile many years ago. Plymouth frame and engine, wood bumpers on the early models, trim stolen off of Fords in the junkyard. If I remember the article correctly they came standard with the passenger side tube, and the driver’s side was an option.
