Kinja'd!!!

As you may know, there were some deadly tornadoes in Texas over the weekend. 11 people died and a car dealership was wiped out.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

In the carnage, I came across these pictures. They aren’t from the car dealership, but are from the same area. The header pic looks like someone’s home garage/shop got ripped to shreds. I’m just curious as to what those cars are. Maybe someone here knows these cars personally?

The burgundy one kinda looks like a Nova. The red one is maybe a 1970ish Camaro modified for drag racing? The grey one with black strips, I’m getting a Lotus vibe off from the rear, but not as much from the side.

Here’s another picture of them.

From the same neck of the woods, what is this car, the red one, that was damaged in one of the tornadoes?

Someone likes Fords.

Do I see a Mustang, F150, GT, Torino, Cougar and an Escape?

Kinja'd!!!

Red one in the bottom pic is a ‘67 Camaro. Other burgundy one is a Nova, bright red one is a Camaro promod (70-73), Gray is a Vette, and then the GT500 with blue stripes.

I thought that one might be a Camaro/Firebird.

Red one is a ‘67 or ‘68 Firebird. Looks like it has a roll cage in it too.

Top pic. Red, black hood accents, fastback. No trunk lid?

Maybe not...

That damn Snap-On box fared better than the cars did. Then again, they’re about as heavy as one fully loaded.

Look at the top picture again you can catch what I think is a bumper of a Camaro of late 70's model but it could be a 70-71 Torino that’s bumper got beat up

This was a shop that built drag cars. I hope he rebuilds.

Clyde Scott is the owner. This was just outside of Dallas. Sadly, his father-in-law lost his life as part of this. The rest of the family escaped.
