I had a later version of this.
Same colour scheme, same stamped metal bits, same tires, same general concept of how a trike should go together... just with more plastic bits instead of metal. Namely the seat, fender, pedals and rims.
IIRC I spent lots of time under that thing pretending to wrench, too :)

I had the 70's version, blue with solid stamped white wheels, skinnier tires.

Yeah this would’ve been a late-90's version.
I had a blue-green (could have been a repaint) one too that was much older, but iirc it had wire spokes so it was probably a different brand.

Never had one, I think my tricycle was plastic.
I did have an electric Jeep (well, my sister did), that was pretty sweet.

Was hard to locate a proper metal trike, endangered species.

I can imagine. Probably expensive to produce now in comparison to a plastic one.

Was made in Toronto, spent it’s first life in Winnipeg, was raced by my 2 boys in Regina, now is going back to Toronto for at least it’s third life.

Was there some kind of Chicken Tax on American Radio Flyer models or something? Canadians gotta be Canadian, doe. Amazing resto-mod job.

My brother is 9 years younger than me, so we had a metal trike and a big wheel and some other similar contraption around the house when I was still a young teen. We also had an elevated wooden deck surrounding a giant hole where an above-ground pool once was. Perfect race track - until you inevitably lose control and plummet off the deck. At least the former pool area was sand.

Couldn’t track down mine from back in the day, but I’m sure it’s still in use somewhere.
