I’ll spare you photos of his incision. He made it through days 3-5 without any issues. He had a little appetite Friday night but it returned in regular force by Saturday. Basically he went a week without eating. He’s skinny. He also had his first poop in a week which I imagine was delightful.

You sound like a new parent. Just for fun, I sent my wife a photo of my okdest’s first poop in the baby potty. Hey, it’s a milestone.

Well, definitely a milestone. It wasn’t diarrhea like it could’ve been considering he’s been eating various canned foods and taking antibiotics. Last time he ate food before this weekend was last Sunday. Not pooping could’ve been a problem.
