I should ride in my wife’s Town & Country more often. She is now grinding her rear pads, or what’s left in them, into the rotors. $145.00 later, and new front & rear pads & rotors are on their way from Autozone. At least now I know what I’m doing for part of my weekend.

My mom is the exact same lol. I’ll only discover things when I drive it

My wife was describing a strange sound when she would use the brakes, but I never could reproduce it. One night a deer runs in front of us and I had to use every bit of pedal- the ABS hammering away- and she says “that’s the noise I’m always hearing”

This is why I drive my wife’s car about once a week. That way I know shit won’t get out of hand.

My wife hates it when I ride in her car, usually because the first thing I’ll say is “wow it’s filthy in here”.

Do the same thing for my mom - diagnosed a wheel bearing once, she said it couldn’t be that, then replaced next service. She refused to admit I’d diagnosed it.
