Kinja'd!!!

I feel like I probably watched this a billion times as a kid, driving my parents insane (I’d be surprised if they couldn’t recite the thing from memory).

The whole thing is posted on youtube so you too can enjoy (though I’m sure there are many better modern documentaries, if only for HD footage if nothing else). Still this is cool, I’ve always been fond of the segment through the Andes.

The Cumbrian Coast Pullman, Explorer and Express are trains running up and down the Cumbrian West Coast from Barrow to Carlisle

Duke of Gloucester 71000 on the Cumbrian Coast Pullman. 2007.

Kinja'd!!!

Then there is a the Cumbrian Coast Express.

It’s nice that we still get steam trains running through Carlisle.

It’s always quite a site to see from the viaduct bridge over looking the train line as the train leaves the station.
