People are logging into GTA:O and getting millions for no reason. But this is what I got.

I used to have a ton of respect for Rockstar, but now it seems they only care about Shark Card revenue.

Rockstar is restoring funds stolen from players. You just had less stolen for you than others.

I don’t know anything about people logging in and getting millions for no reason. Never heard of that. But there are a couple of cash awards going on right now:

1. Rockstar recently made several cars that were once exclusive to returning players (Declasse Stallion, Imponte Dukes, etc.) available to everyone. Returning players who previously bought these vehicles are being reimbursed for them.

2. Anyone who logs in between April 25 and April 30 will get $425,000 deposited into their Maze Bank account in May.

I can’t explain your $697 award, though.

Rcokstar gave me $100,000 due to whatever whatever I didn’t read the fine print in the email.

Rockstar made all of the returning player content available at cost to everyone and made it free for returning players, so any returning players who had previously payed for the content got refunded that money. People haven’t been given millions for no reason, they had just spent millions on that content and got refunded. You only ever bought the Hatchet, so you only got refunded it’s cost.

Its a bug, contact Rockstar Support, they will fix it and give you some extra cash as compensation. This is your refund for returning player content that is now free, mine processed properly for one character, and failed on the other.
