Maybe I’ll order one, not sure yet. Had Renault used the bonnet vents on the Twingo II as well, I would have definitely ordered one, as the plush Twingo would then sort of resemble my Twingo II, but sadly they didn’t.

Yeah I’m somewhat surprised they didn’t keep the vents, because overall the II doesn’t look too much different than the original. Plenty of cars have fake vents so even if they were just black plastic it would’ve kept the connection with the Mk I.

Yeah there are a lot on Oppo. At least one more was ordered after I posted that mine had arrived. It took a lot of guts to have them manufactured so I was happy to support it.

When I messaged the guy two years ago before ordering mine, he had a couple left and was considering making a new batch.
They must of been popular back then and then picked up again as he e-mailed me two or three months ago to say he was starting the new run.

Exactly, there are already so many styling cues pointing to the Mk I, like the door handles, and the overhanging rear window, one would say it wouldn’t hurt to put one more in.
The only big real difference, besides the lights, is the size:

Hah! I can say from experience that Clios are awful cars. But the Twingo, while maybe an awful car, is cheap and cheerful and adorable and I love it.
