What's the deal with these?

I saw them in the same parking lot. Both are Caprices, sold as Chevies and re-re-badged as Holdens, but then they also have G8 badges stuck on and Porsche wheels. I’m assuming there’s some shop that does this, but what else is special about them? Is it all cosmetic, or are the engines also all done up?

I don’t know what to find weirdest about these, the fact that they are labeled across 2 (or 3, depending on if Holden calls it a Caprice as well) brands, or the fact that they have an extremely weird stance.

The stance is because the Caprice PPV comes with a jacked up suspension from the factory for hopping curbs and driving through medians. When you put 20"s on without lowering it looks odd.

The offset (especially on the rear wheels) is throwing me off, too.

The wheels are the totally wrong offset for the car, at least in the back. They should have a much higher offset to line up with the fenders. But they probably don’t rub though because of the high riding cop suspension. I have no idea why they’d choose Porsche wheels when there are plenty of wheels from other cars on that platform like the G8 and SS that are likely readily available.
