Kinja'd!!!

Then I remembered that no one cares. Short review: it’s pretty good. Could use a bit more power and a better stereo, but other than that, I recommend it.

Kinja'd!!!

Plus it has this oddly fancy looking headlight.

Eventually, maybe. When it has better tires.

This is exactly how I felt about my Hyundai when I had it. Good car, recommend, can’t think of anything interesting to say about it. Crappy stereo too.

Yeah. I’d love to try an Elantra Sport, or a higher trim. Do higher trims offer better stereos in Hyundais?

Either way, starting at $20k for the base model, tops out at $26.5k for the highest trim, I’d say that’s not a bad deal.

They do offer better stereos, but I’m not sure how good they really are. The Elantra sport intrigues me. Even the previous generation 2.0L Sport was good on paper, but then I drove a base Elantra and it was so awful I didn’t think the Sport could fix it. Your GT is on a much better platform as is the new Elantra sedan. In any case they are really good values.

My friend crashed an Elantra....touring. Precursor of the GT, I think.

He turned down a very icy, very steep hill. Locked up and slid through a red light straight into the side of someone. The engine came 6" through the firewall, and yet my friend barely had a scratch. The car looked bad enough that the first responders asked him where the driver was, assuming he was a bystander, and were shocked to learn that he was the driver.
