UPDATE: It looks like TheHondaBro beat me to it. More pics for comparison below.
Better DRL execution, better execution of the floating roof, less ridiculous taillights, and better implementation of side vents (behind the doors VS whatever those things are on the fender). Even the front looks more unified.

I’ll agree, but I’ve never been a fan of modern Astons so it’s not even a debate for me.
Although the DB11's invisible spoiler is pretty cool.

I saw one in person on display and I actually had to stop and admire it. It certainly carries that expensive but handsome look well...except for the exhausts and that silly fake exhaust vent but I’m sure the aftermarket will have that fixed in no time.

The front of the Lexus is better, but the rear of the DB11 is better. The Lexus is UGLY on both ends, but the front is interesting in spite of it. The Aston-Martin has a boring front that disappoints me when combined with a nice rear end.
I also hate the fake exhaust tips on the Lexus.

I agree... Lexus is tighter. The Aston’s front fender flanks and that goofy “flying roof” styling just don’t work very well... But I’d still rather have a Vantage v12s over either of them.

I think both cars are heavily spec dependent. The DB11 needs a color with actual deep to it, like Diavolo Red or the dark orange and gray from the official pictures
The Lexus is the opposite. Looks killer in black and dark colors, great in blue, so-so in white, and bad in red and yellow. Also, every Lexus need a front plate just to break the massive space the grille occupies.
I’d get the DB11 out of these two, but in the segment, the Vanquish is the best

Having seen both in person, I’ll say this...
The DB11 is beautiful, but it’s extremely too familiar (see: Every previous Aston +/- 15 years) whereas the LC500 is intriguingly new.
Surprisingly, the LC is more exciting, but the DB is prettier. Having said that, I’d rather the LC.

I’ve seen both in person, and both were in the worst possible color combos for the respective cars (silver LC500 with a black interior, black on black DB11). Maybe it’s just me, but the DB11 doesn’t quite look finished.

The 2 LC’s I’ve seen were the typical ones Lexus had been trotting out - metallic red with tan interior. Not great. The DB11 was 2 tone Metallic Gray/Black on black. Which was okay, but I would’ve preferred it not be 2 tone.
I can’t quite put my finger on it, but I get what you’re saying about the DB11 not looking quite finished. I disagree, I think it’s quite pretty and complete, but it does feel like there could be something missing.

I too would like to get one on the way down.... It’s hard to say how well it will do, there is the cheaper coupe, I’d settle for the V8 in the cheaper car.
