Dan Neil is an imbecile. The “Ford Edsel” is not a make and model. The Model T is not evil for being cheap nor for ushering in the era of mobility for millions. Anything innovative but a mismatch for customer wants is not a “lemon” from customers not wanting it no more than “somehow, I dunno how this car that sucked sold millions” means that the customer of the day was “wrong”.
