kinda interesting how they advertise it in absolute poverty spec, with no hubcaps, and absolutely nothing flashy......

You would think the paint would be an updgrade. But lowest price Datsun, is very very very poverty spec.

I am testing a theory. So this was intentional, results may vary.

Did a 200 mile trip in mine a few months ago and tracked mileage...still getting about 37.5mpg. Not bad for a 41 year old car.

I seem to remember getting around 35-40 in mine, didn’t really track it too hard gas was less than $1/gallon.

I can’t even imagine how much I would drive if gas were that cheap... Even now with gas being under $3 in most places, that seems pretty cheap if you get 20+ MPG. But man, if I could fill my tank for like under $10, I would be doing cross country road trips non stop.

I also drove a buick in highschool that averaged 12-15 mpg. Never gave it a thought on a fill up at $0.87/gallon. I could go to town, drive around with my friends and buy 3/$1 hot dogs for a total of $5.
