Kinja'd!!!

This is seriously the most gorgeous shade of blue. Metallic blue Chrysler basecoat because it looks better matte than it does glossy. I’m considering painting the whole Mustang with this color.

Kinja'd!!!

Also added a sticker. It checks out.

I’m oddly curious as to how well (or not) the Mustang’s engine bay would look with a proper cleaning. Granted, that nest of vacuum lines and wiring won’t look any better despite being cleaned.

*deep sigh* I’ll get there eventually. I need to buy more simple green and also fashion an actual battery tie-down.

while that IS in fact a very pretty shade of blue, you’ll need to do a whole lot of block sanding, body file prep work in order to get whatever parking lot door ding, and shopping cart rash that it might of picked up over the years. all those dings will show up with a glossy shiny blue like that one.......

It’s honestly not even that bad, it’s just that Ford put absolutely zero effort into routing things in an aesthetically pleasing manner and most of the crap in the engine bay is twice as long as it needs to be. It was even worse when all the emissions garbage was in there.
