I sincerely hope this was a legit parking job and not just an asshole who deserves to be towed. Spotted at the shopping mall just outside the Alabama Indy GP on Sunday.

McLarens look great in red. Dare I say, better than in orange.

Maybe I’m wrong, but I can almost assuredly say the person driving this was not handicapped. I’m able bodied and I don’t think I could get into a supercar without hurting myself.

Aren’t their disabled drivers stickers in your part of the world?

The driver could easily have a handicap that isn’t particularly visible, like a foot amputation.

Temporary ones for the rearview (nope) and permanent ones on the plate (possible if the car was just purchased, since they would have a paper tag somewhere). There ’ s a slim chance there was a hangtag just sitting on the dash, but I sort of doubt it all around.

Silly, laws don’t apply once you hit a certain socio-economic level. This is definitely there.

Well, not all disabilities are visible. For example, cystic fibrosis is something that will let you get a disabled card for your car, but it’s not visible like a limp.

Dealer plate. Also I can’t get into a low car without hurting myself so...

If you can afford the car you can afford the ticket.

was it a New York plate?

Keep in mind, almost every supercar has an automatic transmission now, including every new post-relaunch McLaren

Too bad that gray Impala wasn’t an unmarked car :p

No hang tag in the rear view mirror, I doubt there’s a hang tag on the dash looking at the photo, no license plate (and I don’t think handicap temp tags are a thing?)

Well, affluenza is a recognized disability by some US courts...

It could be legit. But then it should have the plates or hang tag. If neither, it could still be that they forgot their tag in another car. I’ve done that. But likely it’s a douche.

You know how it is around here...people leave those on for 30 days, sometimes longer. But I was wondering if the ATL dealer didn’t bring it over for the race. When it was on display at Barber earlier in the day, there weren’t any promotional materials, which led me to believe it might be privately owned.

6 months on a dealer plate for me. lol I have a piece of paper from the California DMV that says my car is registered. Seems good enough for the local police. xD

Well if they didn’t have a limp before, driving a supercar that low should do the trick. :o

Ok y’all. It is not apparent from this photo if there is a tag or not. If there is not, code enforcement will gladly write that ticket. Absent that information, the rest of us are just wildly speculating about the capabilities of the driver of this car.
