They’re really good. Probably weigh half as much as my regular Wayfarers, little more flex to them so they’re more comfortable.

Also, random thought, did you ever get shelves for your cruiser? I have this idea I might build that might interest you. Basically, contractable shelves integrated into the trunk.

I ended up building this shelf to go on top of two rolling Husky toolboxes. It’s not bad...it was cheap and effective, but I need to cover it with carpeting to give it a more finished look.
That said, I’m not married to it...tell me more about the contractable shelves.

I’ve just had this idea in my head for the longest time and I want to make it happen. Doesn’t make much sense in my cars (E92 335i or a W204 C300 or a E90 328i) but making one for a wagon or SUV doesn’t seem too hard.
Imagine if you had what you built, minus the toolboxes, expect 3 teirs and it fully collapses (building it on sliders) so that you can just push it straight down when not in use to have full usage of the trunk.
