I watched this GMC get T-Boned and literally flip and roll like a dreidel in the middle of this intersection on the way to class. Everyone is okay thankfully. I’ve never seen this or any accident with my own eyes.
After seeing that, it dawned upon me how quickly a life can end just in an instant. Thankfully that did not happen, and police and fire trucks arrived promptly. I got out to check on the GMC driver and she was shaken but alright. No ones ever prepared for this.

I honestly can’t remember. The GMC was heading west accross the intersection towards the onramp to 696 on my right, the Chevy (Bolt?) was heading towards me. I think I was coming up to the light as it was red, so I think the Chevy ran the light or wasn’t paying attention?

I once saw a wild accident in my rear-view mirror. Seconds after passing someone going the other way as they moved to a middle turn lane, they turned into oncoming traffic (the guy two cars behind me) while still moving, and slammed so hard both rear sets of wheels left the ground. Dodge minivan on Dodge minivan, a nearly perfect symmetrical offset.
I don’t think there were any fatalities, but it was an impressive thing. (I was turning and had already got blocked off from pulling over to help.)

Saw a tbone last summer, where right when my light turned green, I saw a blur coming from the right, smashed my brakes and then watched as an old green Outback slammed into the side of a Volvo C70 with its top down. I can vividly remember seeing the curtain airbag bursting upwards from the volvos driver door. Luckily everyone seemed to be uninsured, however the fire department had to cut the door off of the Volvo to get the driver out. Can compleatly agree that seeing something like this is terrifying, and truly gets ones adrenaline pumping.

I just got one - seems to work pretty well too. Get one that DOESN’T take a battery as, if you intend to use it year-round, the cold will kill the battery ones. You have to keep them plugged in all the time, of course, though.
I picked up this one - seems pretty good for the two days I’ve had it in the car, though nothing incredibly interesting as of yet:
