A. Get one year of pure driving nirvana, any car, any number of miles, free gas in exchange for never driving again. Public transit for the rest of your life, nothing with a motor shall ever be under your command again. No mopeds, no chainsaw bicycles, not even a power wheel.
You can even take a paid sabbatical and take drugs so you never sleep.

B. Drive but your mind is erased such that your car is now an appliance. You live and die by consumer reports. You can’t understand what makes people want to race their car or even modify it. You get very preachy about why your Prius is saving the earth.

Edit: I think I have a loop hole...once the year is up get into wind powered sports, sail boats, wind surfing, ice sailing, etc... those things can still move pretty fast and have no motor...unfortunately day to day i would still need to take bus or bike to work
