The seal has gotten too small and falls down frequently. I think that this is the right part but I’m not totally sure. Does it looks like the right part?

Yes, that is the right part. Your (badass) MS paint illustration is off though, as it runs under the garnish assembly on the sill.

Related. My wife has this same issue with the rear doors on her Focus. I’ve replaced both sides and now the passenger side is doing g it AGAIN.

Not a huge deal, but it’s very annoying and makes the car look run down lol

Yeah I know, I thought about drawing it the right way but then I was like, that part of the seal isn’t visible anyway

How long ago did you replace them?

You’ve got the correct part number picked for the body mounted opening seal for an 07-10 Odyssey right front door.
A lot of body door opening weather strips do that. My rear door opening seals are shrinking on my 08 Civic, and I’ve seen it on dozens of other Honda/Toyota products.

Are you sure it’s not from tension under mounting, like say where they go under that bottom step-piece that pulls them tight/off the jamb?

Yeah I am pretty sure because its only been an issue for the past year. Up until then it has been fine...

So they pretty much just get too loose to cling onto it, gotcha. If new ones fail, i’d be silly and probably just glue them in place...

Can you cut the seal under the sill plate and readjust it so there is more slack up top, thus keeping it from pulling down?
