I wouldn’t say too soon, as it’s been a couple of years since his passing. If you are talking about the movie, then maybe for some people. I liked the Cuban car culture scene, rest of movie was eh to me. Other than the opening scene in Cuba, to me it seemed that the movie really was just an action movie that had some cars (and other crazy vehicles) in it. Also felt like it really missed having Han and Brian out of the picture.

Airplane scene reminded me Chow Yun-Fat in Hard Boiled

I was referring to the latest movie. Roman’s Russian is impeccable! He can also dive in the Arctic ocean, come out dry and kill all the bad guys. Some say he is the next superhero.

But in all seriousness, tho. Ejecto Seato Cuz? Some many missed opportunities.
