I didn’t see any of the new cast’s season whenever it came out. But it was put on Netflix a little over a week ago, so I gave it a shot today.
My first impression is that it is good. Matt Leblanc is entertaining.

Series 23 simply needed a fall guy. They know legions will shit on S23, and they do realize that they can’t ruin Harris, Reid, and Matt, and Ginger was perfectly adequate for the job. Do it over with what they did with S24 and I tell you they’d still have 3 million watching.

Couldn’t stand it. It’s much better this year.
I do think a significant portion of that is due to Evans being gone (he was awful even at things like the interview segment you’d expect him to be good at), but I have to imagine some of the improvement is also people settling into their new roles and of course seeing what did and didn’t work from S23.
