So instead of figuring out what that was we added two more chickens to our hipster farm. Sesame and Marge... two very stupid chickens to join our flock of 6 other very very stupid chickens. More eggs tho!

I think you’d be surprised. Sure, some are dumb as rocks but there are some that can figure stuff out. The most surprising thing to me is the variation in smartness between them.

The City of Austin is encouraging people to keep chickens to help reduce waste in the landfill. Not that I’ll get any (I don’t qualify, since I live outside of the city limits).

So I’ve gotten to name one and one only because I named her Godzilla.
The other are Marigold, Lucille, Penny, Moth, Vera and the two new ones are Sesame and Marge. They all have their own personality’s.

You just threw the new chickens in with the ones you already had? I had to keep my new ones separated for a few months before I could have them around the other ones. The old ones would attack the new comers otherwise which is pretty common with chickens.
