I’m nervous about them because they have bad reviews on Amazon. But, I think most bad reviews were people not installing them correctly.

One bad review was due to the guy’s auto-up function on his window not working correctly. Mine worked fine, so no issues there. Another guy’s was because the visors didn’t fit his 2013 6, which is a totally different generation. So, user error.

We’ll see.

Mine have held up for the 6 years that I’ve had them on my car. My only complaint is the increased blindspot they create.

Probably a silly question but what do you use these for exactly, ventilation at speed? Smoking in the rain?

I had the in channel ones on my last vehicle. Such a better design versus the stick on.

The main reason I don’t have them on my current vehicle is because I really got no air circulation with them. They were basically too good at their job.

Leaving the windows cracked and not worrying about rain. Kentucky summers are beyond sweltering and black leatherette interior makes it worse.

Do these cut down on wind noise and buffeting?

No. :( If anything they add a little more wind noise.

The designers of my G35 seem to have forgotten to build rain channels into the roof. It just drips right inside the drivers door window. Gonna get something like these myself. Apparently weathertech is the only one making them for 2003 to 2006 sedans.

Damn. I’m looking to cut down on wind noise with my windows and sunroof open and was thinking these and a sun roof deflector would do the trick

Windows open, yes. There’s not really a difference. At least there wasn’t with the ones I had on my former car, a Mazda3. Windows closed, no. A little extra wind noise then.

Sunroof deflector I am not sure about. I personally don’t care for the look of those on the 6, so I won’t be getting one. But on some cars they look alright.
