I finally drove the first car I ever attempted to drive manual in. My friend got it basically for free from his family, and he let me drive it today.

You get used to it, and it never leaves you. Had not driven a manual in 15 years, and last year it all came back - hill starts and everything. You’ll be a pro soon, just don’t be afraid to stall it. Otherwise you’re wearing out the clutch.

I’ve had a manual car for almost 3 years now. I was more saying 17 year old me couldn’t drive the car back then, but 27 year old me did.

Nice! My first was a Volvo 142, and I learned because I had to get it home.

I had to learn stick when I was 17, but then relearn it entirely when I was 19.

It took me until about 19 to finally learn stick. I wasn’t any good until I had a manual rental car in Europe for two weeks.
