Calls tire store to ask about tires and if they have any slots on the weekend.

Gets quoted $40 more per tire not including installation than their website and told that they aren’t in stock.

Normally I would just have tires shipped to my mechanic or have him order them, since I’ve come to not trust tire places generally, but this isn’t for me. My mom hit a pothole in her Miata and developed a pin-sized hole in the sidewall, so I told her I would find a tire place for her.

Sounds like discount tire, but I’m a big fan of theirs. I’ve bought so many tires through them that they always beat their listed prices. As for the weekend appointments, yeah you have to grab those early, but if you get an appointment, it works great.
