... And yes, that price includes shipping to the US. And no, you can’t have it, the car is sold already hehe. I’ll let you know if I end up getting another awesome one like this one for ridiculously cheap again. (Walk-around of the car starts at 10min40)

That is really cool. I’ve been wanting to put one of these in my garage for a while. I didn’t realize they could be had for that cheap though.

How much would a BB4 Prelude cost? Just curious for now but I may want one in the next year or two. Manual, of course, and no sunroof.

Is there any particular meaning to the red diagonal slash through the registration plate?

Yes, it means it’s a temporary plate for a car that is not currently registered in Japan. It’s used to transfert cars or test drive them. It’s only available to car dealers/shops...

Yes, they can be cheap :)

As you’ve seen this one is not perfect cosmetically, but it’s the perfect car for someone with a small budget who want something mechanically perfect and don’t mind a bit of faded paint or general cosmetic defects with no incidence on the driving experience.

That and you don’t have to feel bad about the rock chips and scuffs that will come from driving it all the time.

I could find that, yes... Final price with shipping would probably be between 4 and 6000$...

Whats a ballpark number for say a Cappuccino? Just curious, I’ve set it as a goal for myself to get a good job soon and import one by the end of the year haha.

I’ve just sold one to the same guy who bought the Beat for 7500$, shipping included. I’ll post a video of it later. It has 61000km (verified and sold with proof of past registrations/safety inpections. Cappuccinos have a 5-digit odometer so many have rolled over and are sold as low mileage cars when they are not...) and looks perfect. Ballpark is from $6000 to $9000 shipping included. $9000 is usually for well modified Cappuccinos with fairly low mileage and good go-fast parts... These are the BEST.

I can have another one if you really do... Good mechanically Honda Beat that aren’t perfect cosmetically are the best. They can really be cheap as fuck! Put on aftermarket bumpers and sideskirts and there you go, it has tripled in value lol.... Makes no sense :)

Thanks. That’s about what I expected. I’m probably going to wait for the facelifted version to become legal, which happens late next year.

A buddy of mine is looking to get something imported as soon as he sells one of his cars. Any idea on pricing/availability of bringing a “gc8 impreza, preferably sti” to the States? Or a mechanically sound fd rx7?

Kinja'd!!! "Flavien Vidal" (flyingfrenchy)
04/22/2017 at 21:18, STARS: 0

Legally importable GC8 don’t exist yet... You won’t find them until next year and even then, availability will be low... Like really low.

People are fighting right now for FD RX7 too... They’ve just become available for US exports so 1992 ones sell for lots of money... Around 13 to 16k$, shipping included. In comparaison, non-importable ones, later models would cost 8 to 10k$ shipping included...

Hmm, still a LOT better than a comparable one over here for the rx7. Thank you!

Last one, diesel land cruisers..?

Man, that trunk is TINY. I know, Kei Convertible, but damn. You can fit maybe a shoebox in there.
