I sit on hold with insurance companies for a significant part of my work day. I’ve found that I much prefer to listen to classical than whatever other generic crap most companies use.

As a classical musician, I approve of this. My wife’s office plays classical music on hold, but it’s turned up to 11. I have to hold the phone away from my ear when she puts me on hold. I have been known to hang up if the hold music is terrible.

I was on hold with FCA this morning and got to hear Paramore’s “Ain’t It Fun?”
Being on hold because a Java update fuxored your parts catalog? No, FCA, it is NOT FUN.

i’m guessing if your calling for support you are agrevated. If they played Godsmack or Disturbed, by the time they answer you wuld probably be ready to fight them
