we found out today that when we purchased our house the Title 5 was passed but never completely tested. The inspector did not complete his duties but passed it anyway.

So, who do you file a complaint to in that case? Sounds like a shitty inspector.

its not called a complaint, its called a lawsuit.

yes, we’re trying to sell the house. At the current moment with the new results we can no longer do that. it is $15-$20k to fix this new issue.

My parents live in a city where the roof inspector doesn’t climb on top of the roof to inspect it. He told us they can’t because of insurance reasons. I can appreciate keeping people safe but how can you inspect a roof from the ground.
