...I love that Rinne had one less assist than the Hawks had goals...

Little trivia, this is the first time in NHL history that the #8 seed has swept the #1. The last time the #1 was beaten in the first round at all was in 2012.

...and now I want the Leafs to toss the Caps even more and make this happen twice in one year.

On the bandwagon note, if they DO make it past the first round the city will have to start using Yonge&Dundas Square as overflow for Maple Leaf Square. PLZ

I will try not to bring the bad mojo— we’ve had some pretty good luck overall the last 7 years, so there’s no curse, for sure!

I’m sure it’ll be crazy if they can knock out the Caps!

On another note, were you watching the St. Patricks day (okay, day after) game against the Leafs? That was an awesome game...

And I want one of those St. Pats jerseys SO BAD but they’re sold out. Inside 24h. Everywhere.

I missed that game, unfortunately. Went up to Wisconsin for my stepfathers 80th birthday, so I had a good reason. I think everyone does those jerseys these days - it’s a cash grab by the teams, but they are really cool.

Yeah, total cash grab, but still hnnnnng . Besides T.O.’s are a little different, they’re actually a throwback alternate jersey and not just a practice jersey. The team used to be the St. Pats.

Nice - got a pic? Don’t think I’ve seen it - most of them are just green/white versions of the regular jerseys (basically true for the Hawks).

I’ve got two teams that I cheer for. One in the East and one in the West.

Since my Western Conference team really didn’t think to actually bother playing (Blackhawks), I already have my Old Logo JvR jersey out and about.
