The thing that bugs me most here is that the guy stopped in the middle of the road.
By all means, see if you can help... but:
1) Pull over as far as you can before doing so.
2) As far as helping at the scene goes, I think that’s a bust. Go on with your day, take your clip to the cops afterwards, don’t create a traffic jam for no reason.

Doesn’t shock me, clearly a big drop on the left, and while it might be less on the right, it was still enough for the truck to disappear completely. And clearly safety was not a major concern with the truck.
