Great video! About not having power steering, when cars are that light and tires that narrow it’s hardly an issue. Even for a child. Especially if you’re accustomed to dealing with manual steering, as in always getting the car moving (slightly) before turning the wheel.

British Pathe is like a rabbit hole for me.
I could easily spend all day going from one video to the next.
Some great videos are non British Pathe though.
Here President Woodrow Wilson is seen in my home city of Carlisle in 1918 on what he called a ‘pilgrimage of the heart’ as this is where his mother and father were from. The building you see him exiting is the church on Lowther Street of which his grand father was minister.
