The amount of daily fake PayPal scams that we get at our business mails is incredible. The kicker is that we don’t even have a PayPal account...

I usually enter “fuck you fuck you fuck you” into every field then submit.

I also put junk mail back in the “no postage nesissary” return envelopes and send it back.

I’m a hoot

Like those fake calls from “Microsoft Tech Support” where they want to remote into your computer to fix a problem they “detected” after the 10th call from them in 3 days I hope they enjoyed the VM full of zip bombs I gave them.

I get that shit all the time. It’s even more amusing when the scammer can’t even spell in the body of the letter.

I don’t get many fake Paypal ones that often, but we get a lot of those “Hi, we’re from Microsoft and your computer is infected.”

I’ve gotten that a couple times. On the last one I confronted them though.

“Look you keep telling me you are from microsoft and that my windows is infected, apart from your poor grasp of the language, grammar, sentence structure, heavy accent, barely audible audio, and sketchy as hell number, the computer is a MAC it is not running windows”

To which the person said “please sir, install program it will make faster your windows, I guarantee it, you will see”

To which I said “this is the worst attempt at what I assume is a scam as it was so bad I can’t even process what you were trying to do...”

Yup....my main gaming desktop runs Windows 10, but as I don’t have much time very often anymore, I mostly find myself on my laptop (which was broken when given to me, and I repaired it with another broken laptop of the same model, so free laptop!) which runs Linux Mint 18.1.

I’ve done the same thing as you, except explaining that I am running Linux instead...lol

Yea, having to explain to the person that is trying to scam you that the program most likely won’t run on a different operating system is one of the oddest things.
