I put on butt ugly original rims on GX470 recently. They are peeling as all hell and I am not going to fix them.
They come with TPMS sensors and they are not being read anymore since the battery in the sensor(s) is dead.
Is there a way to turn off TPMS sensing? I have a blinking light on dashboard. If there is no way to turn it off, I’ll put some electric tape over it and never see it again till I put other set of rims on currently with winters.

There may be a way to code it out, vag cars have this ability, but you need the specific scan tool to be able to access the different modules. Not sure about you’re vehicle, but likely, yes, but also likely a dealer item.

yeah. pebble hit the windshield the other day and left a small crack. Definitely totaled. Lots of new parts. No low-ballers.
